With the advent of an ailing housing market SF Artist Gary Pruitt felt behooved to purchase a house. The hope was to rehabilitate a house and property for a reasonable price. Though after demolishing small portions it was quickly discerned that it was going to cost much more money and time than expected to fix all that was structurally unsafe about the house. Built in the late 1800's originally, the dwelling has seen a few additions since. As is perhaps a similiar scenario with many houses on the market today - these additions are less than livable (as some of the following pictures illustrate).
SF will follow the demolition and subsequent rebuilding of Gary's house/dome while discussing the state of affairs with MN's housing market and new innovations that are reshaping how people think about housing and communities. |
